Daniel James Applegate, CPA
Chief Executive Officer
Dan spent 10 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He worked in the audit and deals practice in the Orange County and Los Angeles offices. During Dan’s tenure at PwC, he advised on over 100 transactions, completed dozens of financial statement audits, led digital transformation projects, trained and helped build off-shore teams and developed lasting client relationships. Dan was a director at PwC when he departed to co-found AJP. Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Certified Public Accountant in California.
Brett Alan Haness
Co-Founder
Brett previously served as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he helped to invest the firm's capital into private lower middle market companies. Brett was responsible for all aspects of investment execution, including sourcing, structuring, underwriting, negotiating, and asset management. Brett received a B.B.A. in Finance and a M.S. in Accounting at SMU in Dallas, TX, where he was a member of the football team. He also received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in Boston, MA.
Bob Kushner, CPA
Advisor
Bob Kushner has more than 40 years of experience providing accounting, auditing, and business advisory services to privately-held companies. Bob previously co-founded a public accounting firm based in Irvine, CA, called KSJG, which had 55+ team members before being sold to a larger firm. Previously, Bob served on the California Board of Accountancy, Department of Consumer Affairs as a Special Consultant for major projects, on the Administrative Committee and a technical review panelist.
Greg Moore, CPA
Advisor
Greg was an assurance partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and spent over 38 years providing professional accounting and auditing services to Fortune 500 domestic and international companies. Greg held various leadership roles at PwC including the Southern California Assurance Leader and the Consumer & Industrial Products Market Team Leader. Greg served as the engagement leader for some of the firm's largest clients and was also a Risk Management Partner.
